My wife had severe arthritis, she could not move around the house with a walker without assistance. She was in the early stages of dementia. Therefore, she needed assistance to get out of bed, get to the bathroom, brush her teeth, comb her hair, getting dressed, eating meals, moving to and from, and preparing for bed.
In-Home Support Services, Inc. provided Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) that did all of the above including preparing meals and assisting with her medications.
The CNA’s were professional, caring, compassionate, and comforting. They were closely supervised by a Registered Nurse. My wife was so impressed with them that her attitude perked up when they arrived. They could accomplish things with her, which we (the family) could not. They were reliable, professional, competent and caring.
